We have a rich past and we hope that you will be part of our future.

- 1966 - PAPA’s second Annual Conference. Theme: Creativity. Place: Carnegie Mellon.
- 1967 - NANE became The National Association for the Education of Young Children or NAEYC.
- 1968 - PAPA became an affiliate of NAEYC.
- 1980 - PAPA became The Pittsburgh Association for the Education of Young Children.
